ISS space station has a problem due to collisions with meteorites

The astronauts are trying to overcome a leak that is thought to be due to a small meteorite collision.

This is a negligible pressure leak.

In the August 30 announcement, the Director of the Russian Space Agency (Roscosmos) Dmitry Rogozin said there was an unusual situation, namely reducing the pressure and oxygen leakage on the ISS.

Astronauts have discovered a very small crack on Soyuz spacecraft connected to ISS, which could be caused by external damage. Meanwhile, design engineers believe this is a consequence of the collision with a tiny meteorite.

The Soyuz board sent travelers to ISS last June to carry out a six-month mission and is now connected to the ISS.

The US Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has confirmed the incident, saying it is a negligible leak and the crew is trying to fix it.

There are six travelers working on ISS, including three NASA astronauts, one astronaut from the European Aeronautics Agency and two astronauts from Roscosmos.
