It is about to assert that 'God's seed' exists

Scientists from the European Atomic Research Organization (CERN) announced yesterday that they might announce the new seed they found this year to be the Higgs particle in March 2013.

On July 3, CERN announced that its physicists have discovered a particle that is very similar in character to the Higgs particle, which creates mass for matter according to a theory proposed by British physicist Peter Higgs. . However, CERN does not claim that the new particle is the Higgs.

About 3,000 CERN physicists - divided into two groups called Atlas and CMS - have joined the effort to search for the Higgs particle by performing face-to-face collisions between particles in a large particle accelerator. Oliver Buechmuller, a physicist from the CMS group, said that he and his colleagues would probably conclude that the new seed is the Higgs particle during an annual CERN conference in La Thuile, Italy from February 2. March 9 next year, MSNBC reported.

In the past few months, people have been rumored on personal blogs and even in scientific journals like Scientific American that CERN physicists have found two Higgs particles, not one.

"It's just a rumor of people who want to inflate the truth. The reality is much simpler: We measure the mass of new nuts in two ways and get two slightly different results. But after combining. These two results, we only obtained a single value, therefore, the difference between the two results is only statistical errors, similar situations always occur in scientific experiments " , Pauline Gagnon, a physicist in the ATLAS group, said.

Scientists believe that, after the universe was born thanks to the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago, the Higgs particle helped matter together to create planets, stars, meteorites, galaxies, constellation, black hole. According to them, if the Higgs particle does not exist, today the universe will be in a chaotic state like a bowl of soup. So it is also called "the seed of God". If CERN physicists can prove the existence of the Higgs, this will be the greatest scientific achievement in 100 years.

Large particle accelerator, the largest and most complex machine on the planet, is located in a 27km long tunnel on the French and Swiss border. It will be deactivated for about two years (starting February next) to upgrade CERN. After the upgrade process, the power of the machine will double so that it can continue to explore the other secrets of the universe.
