Minister Do Trung Ta : For a long time, I was very concerned with the introduction of telecommunications in the heart of the people, better serving the people and thereby hearing the people's assessment to correct themselves. better. I am very happy that businesses have agreed, cooperated and competed on the spirit of national development.

The Government and the Ministry of Post and Telematics have drastically directed to achieve high social objectives: nearly 92% of communes have reported in the day, nearly 8000 CPOs have free reading books, 100% of communes have telephones , developing 10 million telephones / year, applying radio technology strongly, starting Vinasat satellite project . Information to the people no longer depends on the near distance thanks to digital technology. Now we launch satellites into orbit, even if the terrain is how people still have information. So is rural as well as urban.

I have been thinking for many years, from being a teacher, to studying, and when doing management, it is even more intense than how to benefit our villages, such as: " The Internet went to the village ", then the farmer" moved his leggings ". Now these orientations have become a reality in Vietnam.

Recently, I read an article by an overseas Vietnamese businesswoman in the US online, she said that since 2002, Vietnam has made very bold advances in IT. After that, on Da Lat, she saw many students and students sitting in front of the Internet, she felt that Vietnam had "shortened" the gap with the world, thanks to the Internet. Those are the sincere feelings of a person who is far from home.

Also in 2006, the state management, from the Ministry to the Provincial Department of Post and Telecommunications, had many good results. The opening, competition and progression to WTO are all conducted cautiously and effectively. The first is completing the system of specialized legal documents, in which, focusing on the amendment and enhancement of the Ordinance on Post and Telecommunications. In other words, to build new laws on the basis of the Post and Telecommunications Ordinance: Law on Telecommunications, Law on Radio Frequency, Law on Post and Delivery .
