The 3.5-meter-high 3.5-meter robot will help rescue and clear the snow.

A prototype in Niigata Prefecture, a region of heavy snowfall in Japan, has operated two hydraulic arms within five meters, each with a weight of 500kg.

Through experiments, the Enryu robot lifted a car that was flooded in deep snow and simulated ice breakage from the roof with the aid of modern equipment.

Company spokesperson Tmsuk initially created the Enryu (rescue dragon) as a rescue robot, but after many areas of heavy snowfall, they decided to adjust. designed for relief and snow removal.

This year, in Japan, heavy snowfall has caused traffic congestion, disrupting traffic to many mountain villages and killing at least 102 people.

Equipped with seven cameras and mounted on a similar axis to a military tank, Enryu can be operated by remote control to operate in hazardous areas.

The company, based in Kyushu, with the help of the robotics research centers of universities and some local governments, hopes to introduce a complete robot version later this year.
