Jesus used the oil to make miracles cures

According to a historian, Jesus may have used hemp oil to perfect his "miracle" treatment. Those who see its healing properties may believe that they are witnessing a miracle.

David Bienenstock said the drug was available throughout the Middle East 2,000 years ago and could be used to treat the disease. The authors have even been controversial when claiming that early Christian churches could be at the forefront of exploiting its medical properties.

He said on The Daily Star: "Historical records show marijuana appears widely at the time - they probably know how to grow and exploit its therapeutic properties.

"People with religious thinking from that point on, who don't understand the scientific background of how or why marijuana works, will be able to see it as a miracle."

Bienenstock believes that the kaneh-bosem ingredient , contained in the holy anointing oils used by the first Christian church, is a marijuana extract. And he added, "It was Jesus who was anointed, and if that anointing was related to the use of hemp oil, he certainly used it."

However, according to Mail One, Bienenstock's statement is controversial among scholars. The botanist professor at Old Dominion Lytton University, John Musselman, argues that the evidence that hemp oil is part of the holy anointing oil is "too weak I will not pursue that theory." Evidence of kaneh-bosem (anointing water) is a very weak marijuana extract so it is not worth considering.
