Jet engine powered by water
Looking at the pictures below, many people associate James Bond in the 007 spy film or Buzz Lightyear character in the popular cartoon Toy Story. However, this is a special kind of engine that uses thrust from water.
Canadian engineers have built Jetley-Flyer jet engines using water repulsion. This engine can push the driver up to 30m at 35km / h. However, to own a special jet engine, you must spend at least 110,000 pounds.
The Jetley-Flyer's principle of operation is to use a downward-thrusting hydraulic propulsion system, accompanied by a direct-intake tube for the engine to operate. This engine has also been tested on the River Thames, London (England) recently.
