Photo taken from the ISS remote operation system (SSRMS) shows that the transport Kounotori 5 has moved away from the orbit at 23 53 hours on September 28 (4:43 PM GMT).

Kounotori 5 was launched on ISS by JAXA on August 19, carrying 5.5 tons of food, water, clothes and necessary tools for space experiments.

JAXA said Kounotori 5 will complete the separation from the orbit and return to Earth's atmosphere at 3:33 pm on September 30 (20: 33 minutes on September 29 GMT).

Kounotori 5 is developed and manufactured in Japan, is a unmanned transport ship serving as a supply for ISS. The ship has a length of 9.8m, a diameter of 4.4m and is capable of transporting nearly 6 tons of goods and equipment.

Currently, Japan, the US and Russia are organizing resupply transports for ISS.

Kounotori 5 transport ship is launched into space with the mission of carrying a robotic arm to help Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui connect this ship to the ISS.

In addition, the ship is also responsible for transporting a water recycling system at the request of the US Aerospace Agency (NASA) to help provide "emergency materials" after the US and Russia repeatedly failed. in bringing the Dragon and Progress transports to ISS, raised concerns about the lack of food and tools for orbit astronauts.
