Cygnus private transport vessel leaves the International Space Station
On October 22, Cygnus unmanned transport ship of Orbital Sciences Group - a US private space research company - left the International Space Station (ISS) after successfully completing its first mission. First.

The US space agency (NASA) said that, with the help of a robotic arm controlled by astronauts on the ISS, Cygnus left ISS at 11:31, GMT.
All images of Cygnus's activities were broadcast live on NASA television.

Under the plan, Cygnus will also have to carry out a number of other testing activities before returning to Earth's atmosphere at 18: 18, now on October 23 and burning on the East New Zealand waters in Pacific.
NASA said that astronauts on the ISS have transferred to Cygnus many items that are no longer needed and those goods will ignite with the ship when returning to Earth.
On September 29, unmanned transport ship Cygnus successfully connected with ISS, successfully carrying out the first cargo mission carried out by Orbital Sciences Group.
This is the fourth transport launch of a private company with the function of supplying goods to international astronauts on the ISS station, replacing the similar US government program that ended on in 2011.
The first private company to join the field is SpaceX, based in California. However, unlike Cygnus, SpaceX's Dragon cargo ship is capable of returning to Earth intact after being launched to ISS in 2012.
SpaceX and Orbital Sciences have won a multi-billion dollar contract with NASA to ship goods to ISS in the coming years.
