La Nina arrived early
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has announced that the El Nino weather phenomenon (prolonged rain and flooding in the Americas and Africa, droughts and forest fires in Asia and Australia) has ended.
More ominous, more likely La Nina weather phenomenon will appear in the next few months. WMO said that the surface temperature of the sea is decreasing at a faster rate in the central and eastern Pacific waters, which is a typical expression of La Nina.
Meanwhile, the research group at Colorado State University (USA) has warned that the 2007 hurricane season in the US will be fierce with many big storms with tremendous destructive power. From November 1 to November 30, there will be about 17 tropical storms, of which there are five storms from level 3-5 with winds of at least 180km / hour and up to 74% of the possibility of these major storms pour into America.
