An American designer created this unique lamp. In addition, he offers unusual uses. The user shattered the head of the light bulb, took the piece of broken glass to cut off the hand to the source of the light to glow.
When the blood reacts chemically with the solution inside the lamp, it gives green light.
Designer Mike Thompson said he is working hard to make people better aware of the current lifestyle of the society.
Mike says Americans use an average of 3,383kwh of energy per year. The same amount of energy is consumed when lighting the four lights in the room for 12 months.
On his personal website, Mike wrote, the bulb was part of the project in an attempt to get people to ask, 'What if that energy directly affects your personal interests?'
If you lose too much blood for a light bulb, your life is threatened. Use more energy to push the environment to disaster risk.
The light bulb works on a chemical compound that can interact with human blood to glow.
"By creating a single-use light bulb, users must carefully consider when the light source is needed, forcing them to rethink how much energy they have wasted and how precious it is. " Mike said.
