There are a lot of smart bulbs on the market, which can save a lot of energy but hardly protect your house, such as anti-theft.

Burglar Deterrent burglar bulb.
Because of this, British company BeON Home has invented the Burglar Deterrent light bulb , supposedly making the thief believe that you are still hanging around in the house even though you have gone out.
Accordingly, Burglar Deterrent not only lights up at certain times, this smart bulb also mimics the habit of turning on your lights, creating scenes like you are at home. For example, if you have a habit of turning on the kitchen light at dinner, or turning on the lights in the living room at a certain time, Burglar Deterrent will imitate it automatically. It can even listen to the doorbell to turn on the light, making it feel like someone is opening the door, causing the "weak" thieves to panic.
It is known that each Burglar Deterrent bulb has its own backup power source and they will combine with the sound of smoke detectors in the house to illuminate the emergency exit if a fire occurs.
It is expected that Burglar Deterrent will be available on the market as early as April 2015.
