The bulb is bright for 110 years
The Guinness Book of World Records has just acknowledged it as the "oldest" light bulb in the world at 110 years old.
It was located at a railway station in Livermore, Northern California, from 1901. Except for a few times of power outages, this bulb continues to shine so far.
The "old" shadow is still shining during the past 110 years.
Lynn Owens, Chairman of the "Light Committee" said: ' It's just a regular 60W light bulb, still shining steadily throughout 1901' . This is controversial all over the world. However, no one can explain why it has such an 'extraordinary' lighting ability.
Scientists in some countries are studying the sublime "vitality" of this "old" device. However, this is still an unknown number without a reply. After setting the Guinness record, this shadow is becoming the focus of attracting tourists from all over the world to admire.
