Look at the mole guessing the disease

Identify moles that change shape, size or color to soon recognize pathological signs associated with skin cancer.

Guess the disease through the shape and size of moles

According to Mirror, freckles and moles are very common in all nations of the world, but for those with lighter skin, it is more obvious.

Freckles are small areas of skin, light brown, appear temporarily and are often caused by exposure to the sun. Moles are darker areas, usually black or dark brown on the skin, they last long and are only indirectly involved in sun exposure.

Some moles that develop and change abnormally may be a warning sign of the body. Doctors recommend that people keep their skin moles to follow up and see if there are signs:

  1. Change shape: especially if the mole has uneven edges.
  2. Resize: especially if the mole is getting bigger.
  3. Bleeding easily.
  4. If the mole has a different color in the shade from one area to another or has different colors like blue, red, white, or black.
  5. If the mole and edge of the mole are clear, it is a benign sign. However, if the contour is discontinuous or there is a creased edge such as a shell or it is difficult to identify it is an abnormal sign.

If any mole of these changes is detected, see a doctor to check. To conclude whether a mole is a manifestation of skin cancer, doctors will often need to observe some cells from the moles under a microscope. The cells obtained after the biopsy, ie procedure to remove a piece of tissue or a sample of cells from the body, can be analyzed in the laboratory. Accordingly, if a cell is found to have atypical cells or have cancer, the removal of the mole will be recommended. Depending on the size and location, the removal of part or all of the mole and a small tissue surrounding it is considered.
