Red pandas are animals that often live alone in nature and only find partners when they need to mate. They spend most of their time in trees and 'players' on climbing.
Although they often live alone in nature, they also enjoy playing with the same type in captivity. The under-hairs help keep them from slipping when climbing on trees or walking in the snow.
Red pandas often live in Nepal, Myanmar and China, but due to deforestation, animals are in danger of extinction.
This animal likes to live in high mountains and rain. It has a small body and a relatively light weight. Red pandas can stand on 2 hind legs for up to 10 seconds.
Like cats, red pandas use sharp claws to defend themselves. Their favorite foods include bamboo leaves, chestnuts, fruits and eggs.
