Machine 'look' across the wall
British consulting firm Cambridge has launched a laptop sized radar that can " see " through the walls to help police check if anyone hid inside the building before entering.
It can also help emergency responders quickly identify the person trapped in the building. This device, when it is pressed against the wall, displays its 3-dimensional image, identifying people up to 20 meters away. Prism 200's unique feature is that it can only detect moving objects but is very " sensitive " so it is possible to detect the breath of a person.
