Magnetic shoes challenge gravity

The magnetic boots provide users with the feeling of flying as they travel on the Moon.

Moonshine Crea , a startup company based in New York, USA, plans to launch a super-strong magnet shoe in September of this year to help people feel more comfortable when moving.

The gravitational acceleration of the Moon is smaller than the gravitational acceleration of the Earth, so when traveling on the Moon, people will feel like flying. This is why shoes called MoonWalker (pedestrians on the moon).

The N45 neodynium magnets are inserted into the soles of the shoe to create a force field that helps the bear pop out of the ground. The N45 neodynium magnet is one of the most powerful permanent magnets ever known. It creates a force field without the need for an external current.

" The magnets have different strengths like the N40, 42 and 45, " said Patrick Jreijiri, chemical engineer and shoe designer. The strength of the neodynium magnet depends on its composition, mainly neodynium, iron and boron.

"The N45 is stronger than the rest of the magnets and is cheap ," Live Science quoted Jreijiri. Each pair of shoes has two layers, each containing about 12-13 magnets. The magnets in the two layers are placed so that their north pole points to each other and creates thrust .

Each magnet has a diameter of 2.5-5 cm. Magnets with a diameter of 2.5 cm are strong enough to lift 12 kg of material while 5 cm diameter magnets are capable of lifting weights up to 25 kg.

When moving, the force acting on each magnet is different. To solve this problem, large magnets are placed directly under the heel and toe joint where the greatest pressure is present.

The space between the magnets creates a soft cushion, which adjusts automatically when the user moves. " The space between the magnets is 6mm . The magnets are closer together, the stronger the thrust , " Jreijiri said. According to Jreijiri, the elasticity of shoes is not lost after long periods of use.
