Biodegradable shoes

Most footwear is now made of materials that are difficult to decompose. This has been overcome by two Dutch entrepreneurs Christiaan Maats Dirk, Jan Oudshoom, owner of OAT Shoes.

Made using hemp, cork, bio-cotton, biodegradable plastics, non-chlorine mixtures and other non-toxic materials, OAT's soft sole shoe products are designed to decompose completely. when buried in the ground, according to Gizmag .

Another special feature is the built-in 'built-in' shoe, which can germinate and bloom when buried.

According to Mr. Maats and Oudshoom, the future of human beings lies in harmony between people and nature. Part of their 'green' philosophy is to manufacture and sell biodegradable shoe products in Europe to minimize transport-related carbon emissions.

After two years of researching and deploying this new shoe, these two entrepreneurs' soft sole soles collection has now been announced. Although these shoes have not yet reached the public, they won the second prize at the Green Fashion Competition held last month in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

This eco-friendly shoe will be initially sold through the webshop of OATS, for about 140-150 euros / pair and limited to Europe.
