Mako sharks are killed
A terrified diver witnessed a shark weighing more than 100kg off Australia was cruelly hung up.
The 1.8m long fin mako shark was found by a construction worker and local photographer named Robbert Westerdyk. At that time, Mr. Westerdyk was diving in the HMAS Adelaide marine reserve, 96km north of Sydney.

The shark was stabbed in the chest with something, its tail was tied to the buoy. It may have been in this condition for several days."Preparing to end the dive, we see this cruel scene, the two meter long shark hung up," Telegraph quoted Westerdyk as saying.
"It is terrible. If this is the killing of a terrestrial creature, the culprit will surely be arrested , " said Westerdyk, who said he took a picture of the scene, then cut the rope to sink the shark. to the bottom of the sea.
According to the photographer, the action may be taken by fishermen, as this is an area not allowed to catch; or maybe it's a joke that some divers bring animals somewhere to the coast to scare other divers.
"In 40 years of diving in the sea, I have never seen such a scene," the photographer said.
State officials in New South Wales, Australia are investigating the murder.
Dr David Powter, a professor of environmental science at Newcastle University, said the culprit could act like a deadly amusement and show how they knew how to kill sharks.
