Man dug up the world's largest 6-ton pearl but no one dared to buy it!

In 2004, a man named Zhao Sheliang, a gem miner from Shaanxi, went to Lop Nur, Xinjiang, to find a mine to mine rare jade.

The jade industry has always attracted the attention of many people, but not everyone can make a lot of money from it.Zhao Sheliang from Shaanxi, China has been working in this industry for more than ten years, in 2004 he encountered unprecedented difficulties.

At that time, not only did he not make any money in business, but he also suffered heavy losses. He was left with only a few worthless jade pendants that were difficult to sell at a good price. Facing the crisis, to save his business, Mr. Luong made a very important decision: go to Lop Nur, Xinjiang to mine jade.

Many people were surprised, not understanding why he chose to go there. With his experience and deep understanding, he realized that most of the precious gems were created during the movement of the earth's crust. When this process occurs, magma will erupt and then solidify, crystallizing into intrusive rocks (Batholite) . The part outside the edge of the intrusive rock has Pecmatite crystals. In which there are beautiful, large gemstone crystals.

With unremitting efforts, Zhao Sheliang's team of workers found several fluorescent stones of different sizes. Realizing that the situation seemed promising, he asked the team of workers to dig deeper and discovered a giant pearl that could also emit a turquoise light.

Zhao Sheliang, after confirming, discovered that this was a night pearl , a rare treasure reserved for ancient royalty. Among them was the pearl in the mouth of Empress Dowager Cixi when she was buried. It was only the size of an egg but was worth up to 800 million yuan.

The night pearl that Zhao Sheliang found weighed up to 6 tons. It took him 3 years to polish this night pearl and turn it into a sphere with a diameter of up to 1.68 meters.

From a chemical perspective, night pearls are fluorite , and only 3% of fluorite can emit light, so it is very valuable. Natural fluorite is very valuable, while artificial fluorite does not bring high income.

In 2010, this giant night pearl was the largest in the world and was displayed for the first time at the Wenchang Baoyu Palace (Hainan, China). The appearance of the night pearl caused a stir in the jade business world. Experts also valued it at a sky-high price of 2.6 billion yuan.

Although it has a very high value, this pearl has not yet been bought because of its huge size , it is difficult to find the real application of the pearl. However, if it is turned into small pieces to make jewelry, it will lose its original high value.

To take advantage of the value of this treasure, Zhao Sheliang decided to open an exhibition in Wenchang City, Hainan Province, China. This method not only helped him become famous but also made money. At night, the light emitted from the night pearl can illuminate the surrounding area without the need for lights, so it is also considered a 'street lamp'.
