The machine, built by Gustav Zander (Sweden) in the 19th century, makes people more active and a precursor to modern gymnastics.

At the end of the 19th century, industrial development made people gradually shift to office work instead of working hands and feet and from then on, became dull and lazy. Based on body and muscle movements, Dr. Gustav Zander (Sweden) has invented a series of machines for exercise to compensate and treat problems such as physical weakness, disease, column deformity live or constipation.
