Monkey squirts as big as a finger

At Eberswald Provincial Zoo (Germany) in a squirrel monkey family, there are 3 extremely lovely baby monkeys attracting the attention of many people, especially young children.

Monkey squirrels are the smallest primates on the planet, their relatives are very close to orangutans (orang-utang) which are not too far away from genealogies.

Their homeland is South America, especially in the Amazon basin countries. Monkey squirrels have many species and common characteristics are . tiny.

The new squirrel monkey was born in the hands of the zoo's caregiver.

Their body length is only 15 to 59cm. The tail compared to the body is very long, about 18 to 42cm and very clever, can be wrapped on tree branches, helping them swing in the air.

Squirrels weigh 70 to several hundred grams. They run, jump very fast on the branches. The main food is insects, fruits and seeds. They know how to express affection with their lips, eyes, ears, and the hairs on their heads are funny.

They make cries that express emotional nuances as well as inform each other. People record and distinguish more than 10 audio signals exchanging between them.
