Wild monkeys do not often eat bananas.

Monkeys eat fruits but they cannot find bananas like humans buy from supermarkets. In addition, they also eat leaves, flowers, seeds and insects in the wild.

A zoo in England even decided to stop feeding his monkeys to bananas because they were too sweet.

Amy Plowman, a zoologist from Paignton said: "Compared to monkeys eating in nature, bananas contain too much energy - they have lots of calories - and sugar can harm primates' teeth. More serious than bananas can lead to this animal's diabetes . ".

However, it must be acknowledged that monkeys love to eat bananas. A study from 1936 was conducted by providing monkeys with the right to choose foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts and breads. As a result, monkeys like to eat most grapes, followed by bananas, to nuts and finally bread.

Milton said: "Of course apes and gibbons are not stupid, they know how to enjoy the food they come in contact with." The problem is that they are very difficult to meet bananas in nature.
