Mozart frog knows whistling
While searching for traces of frogs that are considered extinct in Haiti, nature conservationists have discovered six rare frog species that live only in this Caribbean country.
Of the six newly discovered precious frog species, the most notable is the frog that can emit a whistle and is named after Mozart's composer.Its belly whistling can distract predators .
Mozart frog species can make whistling sounds
Remarkable frogs include a black-eyed frog with orange hind legs and a spotted frog with jade-colored eyes. In addition, the team led by two scientists from the University of Pennsylvania (USA) also found 48 other native amphibian species.
