Multi-functional wheelchairs with seats are designed 1.1m long, 0.68m wide and 1.31m high, the vehicle weight is 70kg. The car is designed to run at a maximum speed of 6km / hour, climbing a slope of 12 degrees.

The car is designed in a simple way, the chassis has been improved to include seat parts, moving electric motor parts and manual controls for users.

With these improvements, in addition to moving purposes, the car also has the function of switching from seat to bed.Wheelchair seats can recline 90 degrees, lift up and down as you like. This helps users more comfortable with lying or sitting posture.

The control of the car is also relatively simple, the occupants just need to press and release the control buttons that match the function they want to use. With these utilities, the wheelchair is very suitable for the mobility of the elderly and the disabled. Especially for those who are injured, the car can become a hospital bed.

Evaluating the science and practice of multi-function wheelchair products, Master Tran Khac Le, Chairman of Science Council of Phu Yen Vocational College, said that this was the product that the research team had Application of many modules of subjects such as automobile mechanics, electricity . so products have very high applicability .

Master Tran Khac Le also said that the car helps patients to be more comfortable in moving, moving from one bed to another. If the product is completed and some details are added, it can be put on the market. In addition to integrating many features, the product also has a high humanistic meaning.

Further asserting the superiority of products, engineers Pham Hung Anh, a member of the manufacturing team, said the car has the advantage of not needing complicated programming but the design is very simple . Users only need to press the control buttons immediately. If there is damage, users only need to buy the spare parts that are usable. Compared to other products on the market with fewer features but the price has reached 50 million, this car is cheaper, for 18 million.

Currently, the product has been introduced to many elderly and disabled people at the Rehabilitation Hospital, Center for Nourishing People of Phu Yen Province for testing.
