Mysterious 'sea monster' drifted into Texas after Hurricane Harvey

The mysterious creature with canines, in a state of decay, was washed up on the coast of Texas City, Texas - the United States after Hurricane Harvey was identified.

Previously, Ms. Preeti Desai discovered the creature during the assessment of the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey and shared it on Twitter to ask the experts for help.

"I was totally surprised. It was an animal that you rarely see on the beach. I suppose it was an animal from deep sea water and stormed by the storm. I was curious and wanted to find out what animals are. What is this? " - Desai said, and said she shared a series of strange creatures on Twitter because she knew there were many scientists using this social network.

"Biologists on social networks, what animal is this?" - Desai wondered, accompanied by a series of pictures of mysterious creatures.

Desai's question was later answered by biologist Kenneth Tighe.

According to Tighe, the above "sea monster" could be a snake eel with fangs , garden eels or sea eels because "all three species appear out of Texas and have large fangs." .

Snake eels with fangs are often found in deep sea waters of 30-90 m in the western Atlantic Ocean, according to the BBC.

Harvey, accompanied by strong winds and floods, is believed to have hit the creature on shore.
