NASA announces the latest map of Jupiter
The US Space Agency (NASA) has released the most detailed color map of Jupiter captured by Cassini when it begins to approach this star on December 11 and 12, 2000.
The raw images are currently only 2 colors, while these new colorful maps will show Jupiter looking with the naked eye. They include a cylindrical map of the planet, along with its north and south pole maps.
These maps show a variety of clouds of different colors, including parallel red and white brown bands, many small swirls and many white oval curls, many of which appear in wave and streak form. .
Cassini went into Saturn's orbit on July 1, 2004. Mission Cassini-Huygens is a joint project between NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
