In a talk with high school students in Hanoi - Amsterdam today, with a humorous style, Mr. Bolden surprised 600 students. His friendly and humorous way of speaking helped make the presentation of the science of science become closer.
At the beginning of the conversation, NASA general manager wittyly said: "Tell me about anything you want, but don't ask too hard."
Mr. Bolden introduced Ams students to the earth, the existing satellites and the mechanism of action of small earth observation satellites, the most modern conquest technologies that NASA has.

Ams students were more excited when they heard Mr. Bolden talking about his own story of stigma and discrimination because of the color of the skin from five months of schooling."Because of that, even if I wanted to be an astronaut, I didn't dare to apply to NASA until a teacher advised me to do my best."
In the middle of the speech, he asked a question to test Ams students. NASA's general director expressed his surprise about the English ability and the smart questions of Vietnamese students.
At the end of the talk, a male student asked, "What do you have to do to have a better life," he said: "Do what you can best, the world is always ready to use people. have passion and knowledge ".

To the question of a young man: "Can we participate in research with NASA in the future?" . Mr. Bolden affirmed: "There is always an opportunity for you. It is important that you love and fall in love and invite you to register for NASA research programs now."
The whole hall was lively when a female student asked if NASA's general manager would believe the end of the world. He affirmed: "I don't care about what people are rumbling about the upcoming December 21st. For me, only three milestones are important in 2014, 2017 and 2030 - when NASA does the next. plan to bring people to Mars ".
The talk with NASA director ended but many Ams students still lingered. Chu Hoang Thanh, 12 Anh1, commented that NASA's general director shared many interesting lessons with us."I was impressed with his third lesson, what to do not to be afraid of failure. I think success is the result of failure, must accept failure and overcome success".
"His statement is a great encouragement for our generation. This lesson is probably not new, but the impression that is that is his own experience with sincere words , " Thanh added. "You and I hope one day Vietnam space technology will develop".
