NASA intends to build a city floating on Venus
The US Aeronautics Agency (NASA) came up with the idea of building floating spectral walls on the planet that they think are similar to Earth.

Business Insider quoted Chris Jones, an expert at a NASA space research center, said the plan to develop Venus's settlement is HAVOC .
According to the HAVOC project, the floating city will be built on the high clouds of Venus. The surface of this planet is very harsh, with enough heat to melt lead. It is also home to more active volcanoes than any other planet in the solar system and has atmospheric pressures greater than 90 times the pressure at sea level on Earth.
However, Venus's cloudy sky is relatively pleasant, especially when compared to the surface of the planet itself. At a height of about 4,800m above the surface, air temperature and pressure will be ideal for a city with floating helium-filled floating ships.
In the solar system, Venus is closer to Earth than Mars. Therefore, astronauts can accomplish their mission in a 440-day trip, shorter than the 500-day journey to Mars.
"If we go to Venus first, we can test the technologies and capabilities before the Mars mission. This is an opportunity to practice if you want to go to the red planet , " said Dale Arney, a member of the project, say.
