NASA plans to have the first unmanned flight to the Moon in 2022
NASA said it has completed the process of putting Orion on the SLS space launch system and is expected to have the first unmanned flight to the moon in 2022.
On October 23, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said it would make the first unmanned flight to the moon aboard the Orion spacecraft , launched from the SLS Space Launch System , in February. -2022.

Sputnik news agency quoted a statement from NASA as saying that the engineers of the Artemis 1 mission had completed the process of putting Orion on the SLS system at Kennedy Space Center.
Artemis 1 is an American aerospace project with the goal of returning humans to the Moon by 2024.
"After completing the launch of the Orion spacecraft to the launch pad, we are conducting a series of tests and aim to launch the spacecraft into space in February 2022," a NASA representative said.
The SLS system has been under construction since 2011 and is set to serve as a launch pad for the Orion spacecraft to send astronauts into space and to distant places, including the moon and Mars.
The launch of the Orion spacecraft using the SLS system has been delayed several times for various reasons, according to Sputnik.
