On a photograph, taken 150 km above the moon's surface, the Hang Nga 3 probe is not far away, still in Mare Imbrium area from December 14, 2013.
Although the image is unclear, the shooting of Chinese devices on the moon is intended to test their activity since landing on Earth's natural satellite.
'Solar panels reflect very well, so the two devices are displayed as two bright spots,' Space.com leads NASA's press release.
The LRO satellite is not in a position to capture the image of landing on the moon of Hang Nga 3, and it only moves to the location on the head of the Rabbit Rabbit on Christmas day.
