The Beijing Space Control Center (BACC) said Jade used a mechanical arm to survey the surface of the Moon's surface for a period of 30 minutes and successfully completed the "tasting" of the soil.

Representative from BACC Wu Fenglei said, this is a new breakthrough in the BACC controlling and controlling a mechanical arm with high accuracy on the surface of 'Ms Hang' from a distance of up to 380,000km.
Over the weekend, Chang Er 3 and Rabbit Yu "woke up" to continue the task of studying the Moon after a two-week hibernation period. Hang Nga 3 and Rabbit Ngoc are equipped with radioactive batteries that use the isotope plutonium-238 to keep the circuits warm despite temperatures down to -180 degrees Celsius at night.

Earlier on December 14, the Hang Nga 3 ship successfully landed on the surface of the Moon. Xinhua said it was the first time since 1976 that the spacecraft landed on the moon, making China the third country after the US and the former Soviet Union to successfully carry out this feat.
According to BACC, Hang Nga 3 will operate on the Moon for a period of 1 year, while the Rabbit Ngoc will operate for 3 months with the task of surveying and collecting scientific data on soil, rock and Craters on the surface of the Moon.
