Combining science and art, Dutch brothers Adrie and Alfons Kennis have re-created faces for the famous Otzi mummy dating to 5,300 years old.
The new face of Otzi mummy is recreated with an old look and beard.
Currently, mummies are on display at the archaeological museum of South Tyrol in Italy.
The name Otzi originates from where it was found — the Otztal Apls mountain range near the Italian-Austrian border.
The mummy was found in 1991 by the German couple Helmut and
Erika Simon when they are climbing the mountain. Otzi lives in the age of 3350 - 3100 (BC),
before when Stonehenge and Giza Pyramid were built.

The Kennis brothers created the face of Otzi based on skull 3D images.
Their work took half a year
Previous studies indicate that Otzi died of blood loss by the wound of an arrow.Otzi's body was preserved by being buried in the ice of the region.
After Otzi was discovered, the researchers collected each bit of clues to identify.Otzi bones show that he died about 46 years old - the age of the elderly in that era.He seems to be the typical Bronze Age man with a height of 1.6m and weighs about 50kg.
Otzi mummy is kept in the freezer at the museum with the condition of humidity and cold as the place where Otzi was found.A unique cooling system for mummies can be displayed.
Previously, it was believed that the site of Otzi was found in Austria but actually located in South Tyrol, Italy.
