New method of rapid detection of heart disease

Early detection of abnormalities in blood vessels in the eyes can save the lives of people with heart disease.

There are many ways to detect heart disease, but a recent pilot study has shown that angiography in the eye can also detect signs of heart disease.

The study was conducted by scientists at the Edinburgh Clinical Research Research Center (Cric) and consists of more than 1,000 patients with heart disease. Scientists took pictures of the retina of all patients and examined some indicators.

Among these indicators, the width of blood vessels or abnormal blood vessels is often associated with heart disease.

The researchers concluded: The eye retina method can determine whether the patient is at risk for a heart attack without invasive procedures such as a biopsy or angiography.

The researchers used the Optos device to capture the retina of the eye.
