Nha Trang: discovering 17 kinds of corals and luminescent corals

It is the first work in Vietnam to study luminescent marine life under the activation of ultraviolet (UV) light has been announced. The work was jointly researched by four scientists at the Institute of Oceanography (in Nha Trang).
Accordingly, there are 14 types of hard corals; one type of soft corals and two sea anemones out of 89 marine life samples collected in Nha Trang Bay.
According to the researchers, the discovery of these luminescent marine species is valid for many areas of life such as: medicine will help research, detect tumors, cancer and changes. abnormal in living body .
