Online animal encyclopedia

Founded in 2007, it is an ambitious effort to create an Encyclopedia of Life (EoL) encyclopedia online, free of charge, in the style of Wikipedia Encyclopedia, to describe it all. The species are known in the world.

So far, EoL has achieved an important milestone when updating 750,000 species of organisms, ie more than one third of the 1.9 million species known to humans. But EoL's CEO said that it is a reverse microscope that helps users gather information for large-scale analysis.

At present, the extended version of EoL develops knowledge in a larger scope such as medicine, biotechnology, ecology . At present, EoL has reached the figure of 1 million pages and is still waiting for new content from partners, members and online users.
