Patrol robot with security guard

In mid-December, Sohgo Security Services will be launching a new security system based on the 90-kg Reborg-Q combination workgroup and security staff at the AquaCity mall. Capital of Tokyo (Japan).

Robots can be programmed to automatically follow a predetermined route or be remotely controlled. Reborg-Q is also smart enough to handle elevators, allowing it to move from floor to floor in a building. The Reborg-Q is equipped with 4 cameras on the head and shoulder for video and sensor to detect people around, leakage and fire.

Upon detection of suspicious signals, the robot will alert the computer to the security room and send the video to the security guard. A right-handed FeliCa card reader gives Reborg-Q the ability to identify co-workers and it is also equipped with a fire engine.
