The Hokkaido wolf who lived in Japan was extinct in the early 19th century after a campaign to eradicate wolves. This has led some areas to over-control the numbers of deer and wild boar. They often eat rice and nuts of the people.

After the successful test, the wolf robot will be mass-produced next month. This robot can operate effectively within a kilometer radius, more efficiently than electric fences, according to Japanese expert Chihiko Umezawa.

The 65cm long robot wolf, which is about the size of a real wolf and has no ability to move. It was fitted with fangs and long hairs. The robot cost is $ 4,840.

This robot works by solar battery and detects invaders by infrared sensor. When it detects an incoming creature, it will use a series of sounds, such as gunfire, howls, and human voices to discard the creature.
