Ancient people could discover how to make wine after watching animals eat fermented fruit.

Archaeologists have not found clear evidence of how people discover alcohol. They hypothesized that the ancient Stone Age people observed some animals eating fermented fruits should imitate by putting wild grapes in animal skin bags, making them ferment and become drinking water, according to How Stuff Works.

The oldest intact wine bottle in the world was discovered in 1867 after scientists unearthed a Roman stone tomb under a vineyard near the city of Speyer, Germany. This bottle of wine is located in the Pfalz Historical Museum, Germany. Although curious, so far, no scientist has dared to open this tightly-closed neck of wine.
