Pink pigeons appear in England
The pink fur of a dove in London makes the ostriches confused.
The bird appears in Ealing area, London city. Jean Moles, a woman at Ealing, was surprised to see the pink bird on the roof of the neighborhood on August 11, Telegraph reported.

"He parked on a flat roof right next to my window. It was a pink pigeon with white stripes and gray heads. I have never seen such a bird for the past 74 years. French President at the house next door has taken a picture of the bird and he has never seen a pigeon with the same coat color. I have provided food for it, " Moles said.
The only pink bird in the world has the scientific name Nesoenas mayeri . But they are extremely rare and distributed in Mauritius, a few thousand kilometers from England. This species has gray wings, not pink wings like a bird in London.
Tim Webb, a member of the British Royal Bird Protection Association, confirmed that the bird Moles saw was a dove.
"Foods with levels of beta carotene and canthaxanthin - harmless natural pigments - can change the color of birds' feathers. Flamingos are pink in color because they eat shrimp. However, I do not exclude the possibility. The pigeon's pink coat is the result of it falling into a pool of colored products. It is also possible that someone has dyed its fur, " Webb said.
