Planting clean vegetables by hydroponic method at home

For the first time, in the southern provinces, vegetables are grown in a completely automatic hydroponic method, designed by Da Lat Biology Institute and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. This method promises to bring true sources of clean vegetables to consumers.

The method of growing hydroponic vegetables has long been widely used by many countries with high-tech agriculture. However, in our country, this is still a new model, still unfamiliar to farmers.

Since September 2006, hydroponic vegetable cultivation method has been tested at Da Lat Biology Institute. This hydroponic system does not need to be cared for by the system itself to provide irrigation water, the diet for vegetable plants is fully automated. After successfully planting lettuce with hydroponic method, Da Lat Biology Sub-institute continued to grow potatoes and also gave good results.

The advantage of hydroponic vegetable cultivation method is to create the best nutritional environment for plants, control nutrients, thus reducing fertilizer investment costs. More importantly, hydroponic vegetables eliminate pesticides because they can control pests. This means real " clean " vegetables will not cause as many questions as in the past.
