According to the report of the Forestry Department, Shorea falcata is the endemic tree of Vietnam and the natural population is only found in Khanh Hoa. This tree is classified as Very Endangered (CR) according to the Vietnam Red Book and the World Red List (IUCN).

Star leaf heart (Hopea cordata) is also a CR-class tree, in Vietnam only in Cam Ranh peninsula, appears scattered in small wood form.

Con Dao (Dipterocarpus condorensis) is an endemic species of Vietnam, mainly distributed in Con Dao, scattered in Binh Thuan, and in Khanh Hoa only found in Cam Duc town (Cam Lam district) about 30 individuals. .

Sea-type tree (Sindora maritima) is distributed in some central provinces, being narrowed to distribution area and being recommended for rating Less Endangered (LC).

Red Lumnitzera (Lumnitzera littorea) is a mangrove tree that is classified as an endangered species (VU).

In order to preserve the above trees, Khanh Hoa province asked the Management Board of the Cam Ranh peninsular project to coordinate with the investor to commit to preserving the above rare species.
