Produce electricity by mirror
With 624 large portable mirrors, a solar park in Europe can produce 11 million kilowatts of electricity a year.
If you stand at a distance, many will only see a tower and think they are contemplating an outdoor laser show. The solar park was built near Seville, Spain. The movable mirrors direct the rays to the top of a tower 100 meters high to boil water. Steam is used to spin a turbine of a generator.

This is the first large-scale solar-powered power generation project in Europe designed and built by Spanish companies. With 320 sunny days in a year, the park always has enough " fuel " to operate.
This energy park is just one part of a huge project to produce electricity from the sun's rays. Once completed, the plants of the project could produce 300 million kilowatts of electricity by 2013.
