Prof., Dr. Tran Van Truong was elected by ABI to be the character of 2007

Prof. Dr. Tran Van Truong, Chairman of the Vietnamese Society of Maxillofacial Dentistry, Professor of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology has been voted " Character of 2007 " by the American Institute of International Dentistry. outstanding scientific research and dedication to the community and specialized dentistry in the country and internationally.

Prof., Dr. Tran Van Truong is a long-time scientist and educator, has many domestic and international reputations, has taught and trained many high-level dentists in the country and abroad.

Professor is a member of international organizations such as International Dental Federation (FDI), American International Dental University (ADI), International Mekong Dental Association (IDCMR), etc. Professor has been teaching for many years at international and domestic dental universities, compiling and publishing dozens of scientific research and monographs published in national and international journals.

Professor has cooperated with many countries and the World Health Organization (WHO), FDI, etc. successfully organized community health care programs such as school dentistry, community dentistry (Public dental health). and dental care for millions of students and people in disadvantaged areas, mountainous, deep-lying and remote areas, etc. to reduce rapidly the rate of people suffering from dental diseases is very high in our country.

Professor is also a proponent and organization of international cooperation on humanitarian surgery for thousands of children with cleft lip-palate nationwide.

Due to the many scientific researches on medicine, community health care, international cooperation in the fields of teaching and treatment, in 2007, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Truong was elected by the US ABI Institute. and enrolled in the book " Great intellectuals of the 21st century " (Great Minds), the British Institute of International Biography (IBC) voted and enrolled in the " 2,000 excellent intellectuals" (Outstanding intellectuals) of The 21 st century.
