The workshop was held on December 22, 2006 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, 217 Hong Bang, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City with the lead of: Assoc. Phan Minh Tan, Prof. Pham Manh Hung, Prof. Truong Dinh Kiet, Prof.Osamu Ohneda. The conference included 9 in-depth articles on stem cells from leading experts as well as foreign ones.
