On March 7 in Hanoi, Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology organized a workshop to comment on the project of building Dong Nai Science Museum with the participation of numerous people. Minister Nguyen Quan said that not only will the Vietnamese people review the history of science and technology, Dong Nai Science Museum will create a passion, nurture the scientific love of the generation. the future, because the object of the museum is the younger generation.

With the efforts of Dong Nai province, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the support of society, the first scientific museum of Dong Nai and the country will soon become a reality.

According to delegates, the science museum is a place to research, collect, display, preserve and introduce scientific objects related to many fields such as natural history, geology, industry and environment. , climate, natural science (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology .). The Museum of Modern Science tends to expand the scope of introduction with highly interactive technologies, to make the acquisition of scientific knowledge more intuitive and easy to understand. Unlike conventional museums, the science museum shows the level of science and technology of a country.

According to delegates, in order for museums to be effective, there is a need for attention from managers and authorities. The museum must be built to serve practically the people, especially for the youth and must be built in a convenient location, not far from the city center, otherwise it will waste money and effort. build…

In addition, attention should be paid to the collection of artifacts for the museum, as well as the construction, collection, maintenance and maintenance funding for the museum. Dong Nai Science Museum needs to show the characteristics of nature, people and technology in Vietnam, thus attracting the attention of Vietnamese people as well as international visitors.

Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology Pham Van Sang said the museum will be built in Xuan Duong commune, Cam My district, Dong Nai province, near the High-tech biotechnology zone and in the area. orienting to build a scientific urban area in the future, an area of ​​about 250,000 square meters with 5 exhibition areas.

The exhibition contents of the museum include 3 main parts: a fixed display system, thematic display, outdoor display in which the fixed display consists of 7 topics: history of science and basic science and environment, natural science, future science, science and life, natural science, science in Vietnam and Dong Nai.

It is expected that Dong Nai Science Museum will start in 2015 and will basically be completed in 2018.
