Nam Khoa Molecular Biotechnology Company (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) has successfully researched and manufactured a set of reagents to quantify HIV virus in the blood. Through this reagent kit, laboratories can quantify HIV virus using Real-time PCR.

As a result, doctors who monitor the use of medication may know that the prescribed medication for the patient will increase or decrease the amount of HIV virus in the blood for proper treatment.

The Cambodian National Institute of Public Health has ordered these reagents to perform 20,000 tests on patients.
