Mr. Luong Van Liem and the technology research group of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology said that this technology will be applied to bring economic and environmental benefits to the people, especially people who are living in areas where there is no national electricity network, areas that lack water for irrigation are difficult to produce.
Applying this technology, farmers not only have electricity for domestic use, but also serve production, saving energy costs for production, saving labor and saving 30- 50% of irrigation water compared to conventional irrigation methods.
In addition, this technology also helps people improve production efficiency, resist the situation of flying sand, and jump into sand, limiting the growth and development, affecting crop productivity. Although the investment cost for installing this technology system is quite high (about VND 100 million), the service life is quite long, about 15 years. Install a rain sprinkler system using solar energy to irrigate about 4,000m 2 of production land.
Appreciate the technology of solar spraying with solar energy, Mr. Pham Phu Rong, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology of Ninh Thuan province said that this is a new technology, first applied in Ninh Thuan but bring high economic efficiency, because it is not only suitable for climatic conditions but also helps people reduce production costs, improve economic efficiency on an area unit.
