New technology solar collector
Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have found a new, more effective way to collect heat from the sun.
According to the technology published in the journal Science on July 11, scientists used organic glass dye sheets to absorb light into the glass. The heat is then fed to the edge of the glass where the solar cells are installed and converted into electricity.
In the context of increasingly exhausting fossil fuels and burning them to produce greenhouse gas emissions, the main cause of climate change is solar energy as the alternative fuel. is considered by many scientists. The problem, however, is that the cost of this energy source has so far been higher than the cost of using traditional energy sources.

With new technology, the cost issue has almost been resolved. Researcher Jonathan Mapel, one of the authors of the study, expects the use of the new technology to reduce the cost of producing electricity from solar energy to the cost of generating electricity from sources. Traditional fuels like coal.
The scientists hope to be able to apply this technology extensively in the next three years.
