(Photo: TTO) Dust masks and toxic gas masks are the product of a state-level scientific research project conducted by Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center and Southern Branch. These two types of masks have been licensed for circulation by the Ministry of Health.
Toxic gas masks can, in principle, filter toxic vapors of organic origin such as: odor of disinfectant, organic solvents, gasoline odor, pesticides . Closed form, respiration is done through activated carbon cloth filter with toxic gas filtering function.
Dust masks with filters made of synthetic fibers of nanotechnology. The filter will help protect respiratory organs by preventing extremely small particles of 0.2-0.3 microns in size. In addition, this respirator also functions to prevent Sars, H5N1 and respiratory infections.
Two types of masks can be purchased at Viet-Nga Tropical Center, Southern Branch (No. 3 Ba Thang Hai, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City).
