Robot does not need sticky feet on the wall
The robots were able to easily walk on water, but now they can walk on the wall. It will be an effective tool to rescue people in ruins, natural disasters.
In it, VertiGo is the latest addition to the Disney Research Institute, and is the most inventive invention of Disney this year, thanks to its unique wall-moving capabilities.
This robot has two propellers that make up the thrust and four wheels so that it can move on the wall.
In particular, Disney explained, "The propulsion is applied to the wall using the rear propeller, and in the upward direction using the front propeller, resulting in VertiGo flying across the wall" .
Robots are on the wall of Disney.
More impressive, all the positive results of VertiGo's anti-gravity performance are due to the physical laws, not glue or "sticky foot" devices .
Works just like the way the wheels (increase grip on the road surface), the propeller-driven nature of the rotor allows the robot to move slowly without control.
Although not rated yet as a unique toy, potential applications for this new technology are also very interesting. A machine that can move easily across a variety of terrains and is especially effective against gravity rules will be of great benefit when used in rescue, search and communication situations. People are trapped in ruins.
VertiGo was formed on the cooperation of Disney Research Zurich and EHT.
